Musical events scheduled in Peru and Argentina

APDAYC FEST Peruvian music Río Negro Philharmonic Spanish classical music free concerts

Various musical events are scheduled for the weekend of August 21-22 in Peru and Argentina.

In Peru, the Asociación Peruana de Autores y Compositores (APDAYC) will host ‘APDAYC FEST: SUENA PERÚ’ at the Gran Teatro Nacional. The free concert celebrates the organization’s 75th anniversary by featuring diverse genres, including Andean, criolla, cumbia, salsa, and pop. Performers include Diamante Andino, Farik Grippa, and Deyvis Orosco. Tickets can be obtained via Joinnus.

In Argentina, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Río Negro will perform ‘Paisajes de España’ at the Catedral de Viedma. Directed by Spanish maestro Gil de Gálvez, the program features works by Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Turina, and Jesús de Monasterio. The concerts are free, with organizers requesting non-perishable food donations for solidarity initiatives.
