Musical festivals announced at Château de Lourmarin and Théâtre Silvia Monfort

The Festival des Musiques d’Été at the Château de Lourmarin in France will conclude on October 10 with a performance by Trio Clara. The ensemble, featuring Sarah Jégou-Sageman, Anouchka Hack, and Martina Consonni, will perform a program including works by Beethoven, Schoenfield, and Mendelssohn.

In Romania, the Théâtre Silvia Monfort will host the third edition of its ‘Festival Sonore’ from November 6 to 8, 2026. The event features a variety of musical styles, including a performance by the brass and jazz group La Fanfort. A highlight of the festival is ‘Myotis V,’ a production by Anthony Laguerre and the Percussions de Strasbourg that explores the use of sophisticated amplification to transform subtle percussion sounds into immersive sonic textures.
