Musical festivities held in Salamanca and Valladolid

Various musical and cultural events have taken place across Spain as part of regional festivities. In Salamanca, the Plaza Mayor hosted several major performances during the Virgen de la Vega festivals. The Cuban duo Gente de Zona performed to a full capacity, playing hits like ‘Bailando’ and ‘La Gozadera’ alongside new 2026 releases. The Madrid-based pop-punk band La La Love You also performed for thousands of attendees, while DJ Juan Diego Suárez led the Europa FM party. Additionally, a unique concert featuring organ, bagpipes, and drums was held at the Salamanca New Cathedral to present the albums ‘Órgano y tamborino II y III’.

In Valladolid, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood performed at the Plaza Mayor as part of the Feria y Fiestas de la Virgen de San Lorenzo. Accompanied by his band and Irish singer Imelda May, the 79-year-old musician played a repertoire spanning his long career.
