Musical initiatives launched in Agrigento and Savona

The Associazione Filarmonica Santa Cecilia has launched the ‘Piccoli Cantori di Santa Cecilia’ in Agrigento. This initiative provides vocal and choral education for children aged six to thirteen, aiming to foster social growth, collaboration, and artistic sensitivity. Led by Maestro Laura Gallo, the program can accommodate up to fifty participants and is supported by the Archdiocese of Agrigento, the Municipality, and the Libero Consorzio Comunale.

In Savona, the Savona International Music Festival, in collaboration with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, is hosting a concert featuring cellist Matilde Agosti and pianist Simone Sammicheli. The performance at the Church of S. Andrea focuses on Italian instrumental music from the 19th and 20th centuries, including works by Giuseppe Martucci, Alfredo Casella, and Angelo Mariani, highlighting regional musical heritage.
