Musical performances held at Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls

The Athens Concert Hall hosted a musical production titled ‘Venizéle, Venizéle, dóse mia diatagí! The folk muse sings of Venizelos,’ produced by the Eleftherios K. Venizelos National Foundation for Research and Studies. The event commemorated the 90th anniversary of the statesman's death through a two-hour journey of folk music, including mantinades, rizikia, hymns, and operettas, curated by Lambros Liavas.

In Thessaloniki, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall scheduled two chamber music performances. The first, featuring string octets by Mendelssohn and Glière, is set for November 1. The second, featuring the Athens Saxophone Quartet performing new works by Greek and international composers, is scheduled for November 4.
