Musical performances highlight cultural heritage in Seville and Granada

In Seville, Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler performed a sold-out concert at the Cartuja Center CITE. Accompanied by a new seven-piece band, Drexler incorporated candombe rhythms into his repertoire, marking the first sold-out show of his current tour.

In Granada, the 'Mil años de encuentro. 1031–2031' spectacle took place at the La Chumbera Municipal Auditorium as part of the second Granada 2031 Festival Fusión. The performance featured Jaime El Parrón, a prominent flamenco singer, collaborating with the Arabic-Andalusian music group Al-Maqan, pianist Ricardo Rodríguez Cuadros, and the Granada Chamber Choir to bridge flamenco and Andalusian musical traditions.
