Musical performances scheduled for seasonal closures in the Netherlands

Several musical events are scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the Netherlands, marking the end of various seasonal programs.

In Deventer, Muziekkoepel Nering Bögel will host a seasonal finale at Worpplantsoen. The event features performances by Edge and the 21-member Hanzestadband, covering genres from soul and jazz to bigband swing. A collection will be held during the afternoon to benefit IPSO Centrum Salland, a Deventer-based center providing support and informal care for individuals affected by cancer and their families.

In Waalwijk, the Wiellander Muzikanten will perform at the Parkpaviljoen to mark the conclusion of the terrace season. The brass band, led by conductor Henri Coppens, will perform a variety of compositions starting at 15:00. Admission to this event is free. Following this, the Parkpaviljoen will transition to its indoor season starting in October.
