Musical performances scheduled in Argentina and Colombia

Various musical events are scheduled in South America, featuring diverse genres ranging from blues to classical opera.

In San Juan, Argentina, the Conte Grand will host ‘Ladies & Groove’ on Friday, October 9. The event features local artists Belén Espinosa, Carla Tello, and Guadalupe de la Fuente. The performance will focus on African-American musical roots, including blues, soul, funk, and rock, accompanied by a full band. The evening will also include ‘Baby Blues,’ a Rhythm & Blues dance spectacle.

In Bucaramanga, Colombia, soprano Ana Ruge is scheduled to perform a lyrical gala at the Teatro Santander on October 23. Ruge, an international performer who has debuted at Carnegie Hall and won the 2025 Ciudad Lírica singing contest, will be accompanied by Cuban pianist Beatriz Batista. The repertoire will include works by composers such as Rossini, Bellini, Schubert, and Puccini.
