Musical performances scheduled in Florence and Sabbioneta

Various musical events are scheduled across Italy, featuring both contemporary and classical performances. In Florence, Francesco Motta is set to perform at the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo on September 24 as part of the Indieretta Show. This event, organized by Musicus Concentus, celebrates the ten-year anniversary of Motta’s debut album, ‘La fine dei vent’anni’.

In Sabbioneta, the Sabbioneta Chamber Opera Festival will open its season with a performance of Claudio Monteverdi’s ‘L’Orfeo’ at the Teatro all’Antica. The production is the result of the ‘Residenze’ project, an international laboratory where young artists from various European countries trained under the guidance of contralto Sara Mingardo. The performance will be conducted by Stefano Lorenzetti with the Orchestra degli Antichi.
