Musical performances scheduled in Oviglio and Siena

Several musical events are scheduled in Italy. In Oviglio, the XVII International Festival “Alessandria Barocca e non solo…” will present “Il racconto del pianoforte – Storie incredibili e i suoi protagonisti” on Saturday, October 24. The performance, featuring pianist Matteo Costa, Alice Fumero, and Marco Panzanaro, combines music with narration to explore the history of the piano and figures such as Beethoven, Liszt, and Chopin.

Additionally, the Accademia Musicale Chigiana is hosting “Storie d’organo,” a series dedicated to the Vegezzi-Bossi organ at Palazzo Chigi Saracini. On Thursday, October 22, Lorenzo Ancillotti will perform a tribute to Ferruccio Busoni, exploring the composer's relationship with tradition and his work regarding Johann Sebastian Bach.
