Musical talents honored through scholarship and memorial in Italy

In Lucca, the Lions Club Lucca Le Mura awarded a dedicated scholarship to musician Li Zhiquan at the Conservatorio Luigi Boccherini. The ceremony, held on September 10 at the conservatory's auditorium, was attended by club president Carlo Siclari, past president Giuseppe Guerra, and members Berengario Corsello and Federico Favali. The initiative aims to support professional training and the local cultural fabric by investing in the preparation of new musicians.

In Novoli, the first edition of a piano review for young talents has been established in memory of Alessia Quarta. Quarta, a talented pianist who studied at the Conservatorio Tito Schipa in Lecce, was recognized for her exceptional technical skill and musicality before her life was cut short. The memorial event seeks to transform her memory into a future opportunity for young pianists.
