Musical tributes to Michael Jackson and pop classics scheduled in Resistencia and Santo Domingo

Various musical performances honoring pop legends and classical fusion are scheduled for late October 2026.

In Resistencia, Argentina, the Jazz-Pop Orquesta, directed by Víctor González, will perform a repertoire featuring works by Michael Jackson, Coldplay, and classical composers from the 1920s to the 1960s. The 20-piece ensemble, composed of musicians from Chaco and Corrientes, aims to blend symphonic formats with jazz elements, including drums, guitar, and a solo singer. Violinist Caterina Zeniquel noted that the performance allows musicians to step outside their classical training to explore swing and jazz.

In Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the group 4ta Dimension will present ‘Michael Jackson – The Live Experience’ at the Hard Rock Cafe on October 30. The show features a full live band and an impersonator performing Jackson’s hits without the use of pre-recorded tracks, focusing on live musical interpretation and choreography.
