Musicians Marcos Elvis and José Luis “Pucho” Ponce pass away

In Argentina, the music community is mourning José Luis ‘Pucho’ Ponce, the longtime bassist for the band Los Tekis. Ponce, who had been with the group since 1995, passed away at age 68. During a farewell gathering in Córdoba, bandmate Seba López paid tribute to him by singing ‘Tanto Amor’, a song deeply connected to the band’s Jujuy roots, describing Ponce as a ‘brother of life’.
