Musicians Slayyyter and Bernd Begemann cancel concerts due to health issues

Two musicians have been forced to cancel upcoming performances due to unexpected health concerns.

US singer Slayyyter has canceled her scheduled concert in Hamburg at the Fabrik venue, as well as a performance in Copenhagen. The singer reported via Instagram that she has completely lost her voice and was advised by doctors to cancel the shows to prevent further damage. She expressed being “devastated” by the decision but hopes to continue her tour in Warsaw on October 24. Ticket holders can return tickets to their point of purchase, with Ticketmaster reportedly issuing automatic refunds.

Separately, Hamburg-based singer-songwriter Bernd Begemann has canceled several concerts, including shows in Hannover, Kassel, and Bochum, following a bicycle accident. Begemann stated on Instagram that he is currently in the hospital with injuries described as “pain everywhere.” While he is “cautiously optimistic” about his recovery, he noted that rescheduled dates are being planned but will not take place this week. This includes a planned performance in Ottensen on November 1.
