Musikfest 2026 launches in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with 500 performances

The 43rd edition of Musikfest opened on Friday in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, kicking off a ten‑day celebration that will feature more than 500 performances by 450 artists. The opening night was headlined by country‑pop singer Russell Dickerson on the Wind Creek Steel Stage, while local talent such as Bethlehem native Lily Moss took the stage to mark a career milestone.

Festivalgoers also enjoyed a wide array of food options from about 50 vendors, including West‑African dishes prepared by Kou Taylor of Kou Kitchen. Organizers expect the event to attract over one million visitors across its 17 stages, most of which are free to attend, and the festival will showcase local artwork alongside the music.

The event is promoted by ArtsQuest and supported by local sponsors, aiming to highlight the Lehigh Valley’s cultural scene and draw regional and out‑of‑state attendees.
