Delmenhorst Music School to host summer festival

The Music School of the City of Delmenhorst (MSD) is hosting its rescheduled summer festival on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The event, originally planned for late June, will feature a diverse musical program ranging from classical to rock.

More than 250 students are expected to perform between 15:00 and 18:30. The program includes contributions from early childhood education students, string ensembles, a chamber orchestra, and a guitar circle. Adult guitar groups will also perform in a large ensemble. Other scheduled acts include the singing circle, the adult choir ‘Feed The Birds’, and a guest performance by a class from the Max Planck Gymnasium. The event will conclude with the ‘Not-So-Bigband’ performing outdoors. Food and beverages will be provided by the MSD Friends Circle.
