Musinsa expands Southeast Asian presence via Ayala partnership

South Korean fashion platform Musinsa is accelerating its international expansion through strategic partnerships and global buyer engagement. The company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with ACX Holdings Corporation, the retail arm of Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corporation, to enter the Philippine market. This partnership will utilize ACX’s distribution infrastructure to expand Musinsa’s reach, including the planned opening of its first Musinsa Standard offline store at the Glorietta mall in Makati during the second half of this year.

In a separate move to support global growth, Musinsa recently hosted its first global buying event in Seoul for its private label brand, Musinsa Standard. The event showcased the 2027 Spring-Summer collection to international buyers from major markets, including Japan, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Representatives from platforms such as Zozotown and Tmall attended to preview the brand’s design direction. Musinsa intends to use feedback from these international stakeholders to localize its products and expand its offline footprint across Asia.
