Muslim World League chief calls for dialogue in Brussels

Sheikh Dr Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, has called for increased dialogue and respect for constitutional principles during a visit to Brussels. During high-level meetings with political, religious, and civil society representatives, Al-Issa emphasized that dialogue is essential for resolving conflicts and addressing international instability, provided it is backed by sincere intentions and effective leadership.

Addressing the rise of hardline right-wing parties in Europe, Al-Issa expressed confidence in the continent's stability. He noted that national constitutions, European institutions, and established societal values serve as critical safeguards against political overreach. His remarks follow recent political shifts, including the performance of Germany’s Alternative für Deutschland in regional elections, and come amid ongoing European debates regarding migration, identity, and religious freedom.
