Mussoorie car accident: Two men injured after vehicle falls off road
Two men sustained minor injuries after their vehicle veered off the Dudhli-Bhadraj road in Mussoorie during heavy rain and slippery conditions. The Delhi-registered Swift car lost control on a steep incline after the occupants reportedly lost their way at night.
The vehicle fell approximately 10 metres down a hillside but was caught by a tree, preventing it from plunging into a deep gorge. Local residents and police arrived at the scene in the morning to rescue the two men, who were subsequently transported to a Sub-District Hospital for treatment.
Local villagers have raised concerns regarding the lack of safety measures, such as railings, on the steep and slippery Dhoodhli route, particularly during the monsoon season.
