Mustafa Akbulut appointed as Denizli chief prosecutor in Turkey
Turkey's Council of Judges and Prosecutors (Hâkimler ve Savcılar Kurulu) transferred Mardin chief prosecutor Mustafa Akbulut to lead the Denizli Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı. The appointment is part of a broader personnel reshuffle that re‑assigned more than 180 judges, prosecutors and administrative staff across 33 provinces, including new chief prosecutor posts in Şanlıurfa, Samsun, Mersin and other cities. The decree also merged Istanbul’s commercial courts into a single building housing 30 courts and created first‑time senior criminal prosecutor positions in Besni and Suşehri, turning several districts into heavy‑penalty centres.
