Antalyaspor elects Mustafa Ergün as new president
Mustafa Ergün has been elected as the new president of Antalyaspor following the club's ordinary general assembly. Ergün, leading a 15-member board, stated he took the initiative after no other candidates emerged and expressed readiness to step down within 15 days if a new candidate presents themselves.
The club faces significant financial challenges, including a reported 650 million TL in social security and tax debts, and a net loss of 781 million TL for the 2025-2026 period. To address these issues, the management has signed a protocol with Emlak Konut regarding a real estate project in the Fener neighborhood. This project is expected to yield approximately 50-55 residential units and 8-10 shops to help secure the club's financial future.
Ergün also noted that the administration has previously used 200 million TL in personal checks to maintain the club's operations during difficult periods.
