Mustafa Güzel completes 53-day run from Germany to Turkey

Mustafa Güzel, a resident of Germany, has completed a 53-day run from Lörrach, Germany, to his hometown of Buldan in the Denizli province of Turkey. The journey, which Güzel had been planning for approximately two years, spanned several countries including Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Greece.

During the trek, Güzel faced significant physical and environmental challenges, including extreme heat, heavy rain, and attacks from wild animals such as bears and dogs. He reported suffering from foot injuries and instances of fainting during the journey.

Upon arriving in the Akçeşme area of Buldan, Güzel was met by family members, including his sister Eslem Güzel and his uncle Orhan Gel. In an emotional reception, he presented the Turkish flag, which he had carried throughout the entire journey, to his sister.
