Mustafa Çiftçi reviews Roma Coordination Center operations

Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi attended the Roma Provincial Field Coordinators Meeting in Kızılcahamam to discuss the operations of the newly established Roma Coordination Center within the Ministry of Interior.

Çiftçi emphasized the importance of identifying the needs of Roma citizens on the ground to better connect them with public services. He outlined the current organizational structure, which includes one Ministry Roma Coordinator, field coordinators in 39 provinces, and 145 district coordinators across 21 provinces.

During his speech, the Minister stressed the responsibility of coordinators to maintain inter-institutional coordination, regular information flow, and a trust-based approach to community engagement. He highlighted the Roma community as an integral part of Turkey's social fabric and cultural richness.
