Mustafa Khamenei urges patience and revenge as millions mourn Iran's slain cleric
Ayatollah Mustafa Khamenei, son of the late Imam Ali Khamenei, addressed mourners during the funeral of the slain cleric in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosque. He praised the massive turnout of millions from Iran and Iraq, saying the public participation demonstrated national unity and divine blessing.
Khamenei warned that "الصبر لا يتنافى مع الثأر والتصدي للأشرار" – patience does not conflict with avenging the world’s evildoers – and thanked Iranian security forces, the Revolutionary Guard, Iraqi Popular Mobilisation Forces and the Iraqi government for their support. He called the mourning ceremony a manifestation of religious unity that would have lasting effects for the Islamic revolutionary movement.
