Mustafa V. Koç Sports Awards announce 10th anniversary winners

The 10th annual Mustafa V. Koç Sports Awards were presented in Istanbul on October 21. Organized through a collaboration between Koç Holding and the Turkish National Olympic Committee (TMOK), the awards honor the memory of the late Mustafa V. Koç by celebrating Olympic values and the human qualities behind athletic success.

Following an evaluation of 102 candidates, the jury selected winners across three primary categories:

• Olympic Category: National wrestler Nesrin Baş. • Paralympic Category: National swimmer Umut Ünlü, a two-time gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. • Lifetime Contribution to Sports: Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation.

Caroline N. Koç, Board Member of Koç Holding and Jury President, stated that the awards aim to honor not just sporting achievements, but the character and values that enable such success.
