Turkey and Cyprus leaders address youth crime and isolation
In Turkey, MP Talat Dinçer has called for a Parliamentary Research Commission to investigate the rising crisis of children being driven into crime. Citing 2025 data from TÜİK, Dinçer noted that 609,959 children were processed by security units, with 196,308 identified as suspects and 267,794 as victims.
