Mustafakemalpaşa, Bursa hit by earthquake

An earthquake occurred in the Mustafakemalpaşa district of Bursa on Saturday, August 15, at 06:42. The tremor caused brief panic among residents in the district and surrounding areas, particularly those on higher floors of buildings.

Seismic monitoring agencies reported slightly different measurements for the event. The Kandilli Observatory recorded a magnitude of 3.5 at a depth of 7 kilometers, while AFAD reported a magnitude of 3.4 at a depth of 13.35 kilometers.

Initial reports indicate that there were no casualties, injuries, or reports of structural damage resulting from the earthquake.
