MUT-TOUR mental health initiative visits Halle (Saale)

The MUT-TOUR, a nationwide initiative aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, is scheduled to visit the marketplace in Halle (Saale), Germany, on Monday, August 17, 2026. The event is part of the project’s fourth 100-kilometer journey across Germany.

Local partners, including the City of Halle, the Saalekreis district, and University Medicine Halle, will present various support services and information. The program includes an official farewell of the tour team by Katharina Brederlow, the City of Halle's Commissioner for Education and Social Affairs, followed by a community cycling event toward Petersberg to promote solidarity and openness regarding mental illness.
