Mutares sells automotive supplier Cimos to management team

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has sold its portfolio company, Cimos d. d., to members of its current management team. The transaction is supported by the investor Vero Automotive 111 d. o. o.

Cimos is an automotive supplier specializing in the development and production of aluminum and iron castings, as well as mechanically processed components and assemblies. Its product range includes components for turbochargers, drivetrains, and electrification solutions, alongside lightweight components for steering, chassis, and braking systems.

The company operates production sites in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, employing approximately 1,350 people and generating annual revenue of around EUR 120 million. Since its acquisition by Mutares in 2022, Cimos was operationally developed within the FerrAl United platform, benefiting from coordinated procurement and international expertise. The sale represents a step in Mutares' active management of its Automotive & Mobility portfolio.
