According to club chairman Dennis Mwirigi, KFS has taken control of the section, claiming the land is part of the Karura Forest. The club's board is currently engaged in discussions with KFS to resolve the matter and restore access to the affected area.

While the Front Nine remains closed until further notice, the club confirmed that other facilities, including the driving range and parking areas, remain available for member use.
