Muthoot Group launches ₹1 crore AI initiative for students

The Muthoot Group has launched ‘Muthoot Young AI Innovators’, a pan-India corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The program will earmark ₹1 crore over the next five years to identify and support artificial intelligence ideas developed by school students up to Class 12.

Unlike traditional competitions that only offer prizes, this initiative aims to help students transition from the concept stage to developing prototypes, products, and potentially scalable ventures. The program will provide mentorship, technology support, and resources by leveraging the expertise of Muthoot Group leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals.

The rollout will begin in the next academic year, initially focusing on students from Kochi and neighboring districts before expanding nationally. Sanskara School, a CSR project of Muthoot Finance, will serve as the incubator for these projects.
