Muthoot MCred FY26 profit surges 88% as AUM climbs 60% to ₹6.6 trillion

Muthoot MCred Limited, a gold‑loan focused NBFC in India, announced its audited results for the financial year ended 31 March 2026. Profit after tax rose 88 percent year‑on‑year to ₹176.90 crore, while total income increased 36.6 percent to ₹1,113.21 crore. Assets under management expanded nearly 60 percent to ₹6,625.07 crore, reflecting strong portfolio growth and customer demand.

In the fourth quarter, the company posted total income of ₹337.24 crore, up 53.5 percent, and profit after tax of ₹62.97 crore, a 222 percent jump from the same period a year earlier. The branch network reached 994 locations nationwide, and asset quality remained solid with gross NPA at 0.62 percent and net NPA at 0.26 percent. Managing Director Mathew Muthoottu and CEO P. E. Mathai highlighted disciplined risk management, operational efficiency, and a focus on sustainable, technology‑led growth.
