Muttalip Tütüncü appointed Secretary General of SAHA İstanbul

Muttalip Tütüncü has been appointed as the new Secretary General of SAHA İstanbul, Europe’s largest industrial cluster. Tütüncü brings 15 years of experience in international investment diplomacy and strategic industrial collaborations to the role.

His primary objectives include increasing access to new business opportunities for member companies, strengthening business development mechanisms, and enhancing their effectiveness in international markets. A key focus will be developing programs and strategic partnerships to support the integration of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into global value chains.

Prior to this appointment, Tütüncü served in various capacities at the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office. Since 2019, he acted as the Project Manager responsible for Defense and Aviation, managing national and international activities to attract foreign investment to Turkey’s defense and aerospace sectors. He also previously held the role of Executive Coordinator for the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).
