Muy Science Fest 2026 returns to Madrid's Teatro Capitol

The Muy Science Fest, organized by the popular science magazine Muy Interesante, will be held on 26 November 2026 at the historic Teatro Capitol on Madrid's Gran Vía. The one‑day festival brings together leading Spanish and international scientists and communicators to present research on topics such as cosmology, neuroscience and human evolution. Among the confirmed speakers are theoretical physicist Miguel Alcubierre, known for his work on space‑time concepts; neuroscientist José Ramón Alonso, who will discuss recent advances in brain research; and paleoanthropologist Juan Luis Arsuaga, co‑director of the Atapuerca sites, who will narrate human prehistory. The programme aims to make cutting‑edge science accessible to a broad audience, encouraging curiosity among children, parents and educators. Tickets are on sale and the event will also be streamed online for those unable to attend in person.
