Muzaffarnagar woman files complaint alleging dowry harassment and Triple Talaq

A woman in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, has filed a formal complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police seeking legal action against her husband and in-laws. The complainant alleges she was subjected to years of dowry harassment and physical abuse.

She further claims that her husband, Istikhar Baig, issued a ‘Triple Talaq’ and subsequently abandoned her and their three children to flee with a transgender individual. The woman stated she possesses video evidence of the alleged relationship and noted that the affair reportedly existed prior to their marriage.
