Muzaffarpur assault: CCTV footage released after minor girl harassed

CCTV footage has been released regarding an incident in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where a minor girl was allegedly harassed, assaulted, and forcibly attempted to be abducted on September 23. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) shared the video on social media to criticize the Samrat Choudhary-led government regarding the state's law and order situation.

The victim's mother reported that the accused, identified as Lalit Kumar, had been harassing the daughters for approximately three months. During the incident, the girl's two sisters were also reportedly assaulted while attempting to protect her. Local residents intervened and handed the suspect over to the police. Authorities confirmed that Lalit Kumar was arrested and sent to judicial custody following the filing of a case by the Nagar police station.
