Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay opens in Novi Vinodolski, Croatia

Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay opened its doors on 24 July in Novi Vinodolski, becoming the first Mövenpick resort on the Croatian coast. The complex was acquired by the Slovenian investment fund ECM Partners and operates under a franchise agreement with Accor. It offers 198 rooms rated four‑plus stars, a 180° lounge with sea views, an à la carte restaurant, and family‑friendly facilities such as the Little Birds Club.

The resort features Croatia’s largest wellness and spa centre, covering more than 14 000 m², with indoor and outdoor seawater pools, ten different saunas, yoga and Pilates spaces, a panoramic fitness studio, and extensive conference facilities, including two multipurpose halls for up to 800 guests and a roof terrace for 200. Management emphasizes integration with the local community, providing membership options for residents, sourcing products from local producers, and creating around 200 permanent jobs. Booking has begun, with early guests coming from Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and the domestic market.
