MVN requests 209,000 square meters in Piombino port

MVN S. r. l., a company 51% owned by Medlog Holding Italia and part of the MSC Group, has submitted a request for a 30-year concession for over 209,000 square meters in the North Dock of the Port of Piombino.

The requested area is divided into two sections: the North area, covering 95,408 square meters, and the former minerals park (referred to as ‘West’ in project documents), covering 114,057 square meters. Both areas are within the port perimeter according to current strategic planning documents.

The project aims to develop a logistics and industrial hub specialized in handling heavy loads, large modules, and industrial orders. Planned activities include the movement of project cargo and break bulk goods, as well as pre-assembly and port staging operations to prepare components for final transport or installation.
