Mwana Entrepreneuriat 2026 winner announced and Salernes house fire reported

The team ‘Déchets à la Vie’ has won the Mwana Entrepreneuriat 2026 competition in the Republic of the Congo.

In France, a significant fire broke out in Salernes on the evening of September 12. The blaze affected a three-story village house on Rue de la Fontaine, spreading across all levels of the building. Emergency services deployed 31 firefighters, including three fire engines, an aerial ladder, and an ambulance, to combat the flames. Approximately ten people were evacuated from the scene, though no casualties have been reported at this stage.
