MXGP 26 receives major update for camera and online stability

Artefacts Studio has released Update 3 for the motocross racing simulation MXGP 26, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The update focuses on technical improvements, including a revised first-person camera designed to remain forward-facing during jumps such as scrubs and whips to improve track visibility.

Additional enhancements include increased stability for online racing, smoother rendering of other drivers, and fixes for known crashes in online mode. The update also addresses driving physics, specifically adjusting how motorcycles interact with ruts. Furthermore, offline lap times will now be uploaded automatically upon the next internet connection to ensure data reliability.

The game has been noted for its effective simulation of riding through sand and mud, providing a balance of control and unpredictability in real-time terrain deformation. Developers have indicated that further adjustments are being considered for a potential November release.
