MXGP 26 video game set for October 1 release
The official FIM Motocross World Championship video game, MXGP 26, has received a definitive release date of October 1, 2026. Developed by Artefacts Studio and published by Nacon, the title utilizes the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine to improve visual fidelity and physics following a previous unsuccessful attempt in 2024.
Key updates for the new installment include refined physics for sandy surfaces, improved traction control, and updated engine sounds. The game will also feature a rider customization system allowing players to purchase licensed gear such as helmets, boots, and jerseys. Early access for the Fox Holeshot edition is scheduled to begin on September 28, 2026.
