Shanghai MXGP: Jeffrey Herlings dominates MXGP class

The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship continued at the Oriental Beauty Valley in Shanghai, China. In the premier MXGP class, Jeffrey Herlings demonstrated continued dominance, winning both the qualifying race and the first moto. He maintained a high pace despite challenging heat and humidity, finishing ahead of Romain Febvre and Tom Vialle.

In the MX2 class, Camden McLellan secured a victory in the first moto after recovering from an early incident. He finished ahead of championship leader Guillem Farres and Simon Laegenfelder. Calvin Vlaanderen also delivered a strong performance, securing fourth place overall for the day. Ferruccio Zanchi earned a top-ten finish in the MX2 category.
