MXGP Türkiye to host world motocross stars in Afyonkarahisar
The MXGP Türkiye motocross event is scheduled to take place in Afyonkarahisar on September 5-6, 2026. This marks the ninth consecutive year that the country has hosted this stage of the World Motocross Championship.
The competition is expected to feature approximately 150 elite riders representing 25 different countries. Factory teams from major global brands are slated to compete in the event.
Prominent world champions participating include the Netherlands' Jeffrey Herlings and Slovenia's Tim Gajser, who holds five world titles across the MXGP and MX2 categories. French rider Romain Febvre, a two-time MXGP champion, is also among the notable competitors expected at the track.
