During the gathering, actress and producer Charlize Theron delivered a talk to the attendees. She discussed the complexities of motherhood, her evolving definition of success, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the film industry. Theron noted that while AI presents a potential “horror version” where it might strip the soul from storytelling, it also offers an “optimistic version” where it serves as a tool to democratize cinema by reducing high costs.
