Máximo Quilis leads Moto3 championship with 231 points
Eighteen‑year‑old Spanish rider Máximo Quilis has dominated the Moto3 season, amassing 231 points and holding a lead of more than 100 points over his closest rivals Brian Uriarte and Álvaro Carpe. Racing for the Aspar team, Quilis attributes his success to early financial support from the Juanan family, mentorship from Marc Márquez and Álex Márquez, and a long‑standing familiarity with his competitors.
Looking ahead, Quilis has confirmed a move to the Moto2 class in 2027, believing the heavier machine will suit his taller frame and longer arms. Despite the promotion, he says his immediate focus remains on maintaining his Moto3 form and winning additional races.
