My Chemical Romance celebrates ‘The Black Parade’ 20th anniversary

My Chemical Romance is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album, ‘The Black Parade’, through both a new theatrical tour and an expanded reissue.

The ‘The Black Parade 2026’ tour reimagines the original rock opera within a fictional authoritarian world called Draag. The production features brutalist stage designs and characters such as ‘His Grand Immortal Dictator’ to explore themes of resistance and political struggle.

To coincide with the anniversary, the band announced an expanded reissue of the four-times platinum album, scheduled for release on October 23 via Reprise Records. The reissue will include the original tracklist alongside six bonus tracks. These additions consist of three fan-favorite B-sides, including the previously unreleased ‘Someone Out There Loves You’, and three live recordings from a 2007 performance at the Maxwell venue in Hoboken. The anniversary release also features reimagined cover art by artist James Jean.
