My Cruises launches world’s longest cruise from Rome

My Cruises has launched Explorations by Norwegian, a new all-inclusive travel program created in partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line. The program officially commenced with the departure of the ship Regatta from Rome on September 1.

The inaugural voyage is recognized as the world’s longest cruise, spanning more than 370 days. The itinerary includes 220 unique ports across 62 countries and six continents. Travelers can opt for the full circumnavigation or choose shorter segments, such as half-world itineraries.

The voyage is divided into two legs: one traveling from Rome to Sydney, visiting locations such as Bordeaux, the Seychelles, Madagascar, and India; and another from Sydney to London, including stops in Vancouver, the Amazon, New York, Reykjavik, and Galway. The venture is an ambitious undertaking for the Queensland-based My Cruises, with approximately 10,000 guests from Australia and New Zealand expected to participate in the inaugural season.
