My Darling California begins production in Los Angeles

Production has commenced on My Darling California, a new American noir film directed by Elijah Bynum. The project is filming entirely in California and is set in Los Angeles during 1980.

The film features an ensemble cast including Jessica Chastain, Chris Evans, Chris Pine, Mikey Madison, and Don Cheadle. Described as a story of ambition, greed, and violence, the plot follows a single crime that connects the lives of a fallen news anchor, a televangelist, small-time criminals, an ex-con, and a rising country music idol.

Anton is handling production, financing, and international sales. The project received significant support through the California Film & TV Tax Credit’s independent film category, with additional financing from 1Community and Access Entertainment. No official release date or distributor has been announced.
