My Dearest Daughter film releases new footage and images

New footage and promotional images have been released for the South Korean film ‘My Dearest Daughter’, a hit adaptation of a popular webtoon. The film, which drew 5.64 million viewers in South Korea, follows a father’s struggle to protect his daughter after she becomes infected with a zombie virus.

The released clips highlight a poignant scene where the father, played by Cho Jung-seok, uses music to connect with his daughter, Sua (played by Choi Yu-ri). After playing BoA’s 2002 hit ‘No. 1’, the zombie-like Sua begins to dance, suggesting that traces of her human memory and personality remain.

The film features a prominent cast including Lee Jung-eun and Cho Yeo-jeong. It is scheduled for release in Japan on November 13, 2025.
