My Khe Beach in Quang Ngai named among Vietnam's top 10 beaches

My Khe Beach in Quang Ngai has been recognized by the international travel guide Lonely Planet as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Vietnam for the summer tourism season.

Located approximately 12 km east of the old Quang Ngai urban center, the 7 km long beach is noted for its pristine and untouched nature. A unique feature of the location is the harmony between the sea and the Kinh Giang River, which flows behind a narrow sand dune lined with casuarina trees.

The beach is characterized by shallow waters and a gentle seabed, making it a suitable destination for families. Beyond its landscape, the area is known for its local cuisine and a traditional near-shore fishing culture that has existed for nearly 200 years.
